Wilmington, N.C. — The nation’s leading small business association, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), has endorsed U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre in his election bid for North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District. NFIB represents small and independent businesses all across North Carolina and the nation, and NFIB is the largest voice for small business in America.
Lisa Goeas, Vice President of NFIB’s SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust stated in her letter to Congressman McIntyre, “Your election is not only critical to the small business owners in your district, but also to protecting free enterprise across America. On behalf of all NFIB’s members, our nation’s job creators, we look forward to standing with you this November as you continue to do big things for small business.”
Congressman McIntyre stated, “From Smithfield to Shallotte and from Whiteville to Wilmington, small business owners are lining up behind our team because we support the issues and policies that keep our small businesses strong and thriving. We are thrilled and and honored to receive this endorsement because small business is the backbone of Eastern North Carolina – creating jobs, making a positive impact in the community, and working together to help build a better tomorrow. We will continue to put people over politics and issues over ideology and always try and do what is best for Eastern North Carolina!”Tags: Endorsement, Small Business
